Project Description
Recently six Pennsylvania School for the Deaf Maguire Scholar recipients journeyed to Harrisburg. While there, they met with a lobbyist, who explained the legislative procedure; attended a hearing on Special Education Funding with several senators, representatives, and the new Director of Bureau of Special Education; observed the House of Representatives voting on Bills; toured the State Capitol; and visited the State Museum.
